The GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) has been created in 2006 to combine 7 labels of various international associations. This eco-label guarantees that cotton fibers used for the clothing industry is organic. But it also guarantees that at every step of the conception, environmental and social standard are respected. Today, Verte impression is the first French textile printer certified GOTS.

What does GOTS guarantee ?

- The use of inks without phtalates, PVC, heavy metals, formaldehydes, etc. Standard Plastisol inks uses in many standard screen printing workshop are banned.

- Strict environmental management

- Wastewater treatment

- Respect of social standard and quality

Verte Impression keeps moving forward !

In order to improve our environmental approach we promise to use especially water-based inks and no chemical solvent nor petroleum products. At every step of our process we use rain water that we treat at the end. The COD (Chemical oxygen demand) of the water after treatment is more than under the maximum limit acceptable by WWTP.

- COD maximum acceptable: 2000 mg/L O₂

- COD water output WITHOUT treatment: 3820 mg/L O₂

- COD water output AFTER treatment: 53 mg/L O₂

Uvigreen is an equipment, products, a software, a know-how. It will be in a few weeks and for the first time in the world, the UV water-based ink high-definition four-color printing.
